Get Ready, Get Set, Go with e-Medsys! (May & June Training Dates)

Come and join me for this hour-long session which will cover everything you need to know to get started with e-Medsys, a portable, real world, total practice management system. Topics we'll go through are:

  • How to get your students started.
  • Using the most important software functions such as: entering patient demographics, insurance, and appointments.
  • Using the EHR interface to create patient notes, prescriptions, lab orders, and a Superbill.
  • Finally, tying it all together by using the Electronic Data Interface.

A Certificate of Participation is available at the end of the session.

This hour-long online seminar is designed for instructors who will be using CourseMate for the first time in their classes. During this session, we will explore the assets that are typically found in CourseMate: the robust eBook, interactive resources such as Flashcards, Crossword Puzzles, and Quizzes,and the Engagement Tracker. The session will be conducted via conference call and an online meeting program called WebEx. In order to participate in these events, you must have an Internet connection and a separate phone line.

SAM 2010: Beyond the Basics... tips to help you get more out of your SAM experience

This hour long training seminar is designed for existing users interested in learning some of the more advanced features of SAM. During the session you will learn about importing users, creating and assigning your own questions, copying sections, giving extensions to students for assignments. The session will be conducted via conference call and an online meeting program called WebEx. This hour long training seminar is designed for existing users of SAM 2010 interested in learning how to prepare for a new school term. During the session you will learn how to recycle a course for use in a subsequent term, Prepare for student enrollment, Remove the previous course, and to store grades. The session will be conducted via conference call and an online meeting program called WebEx. This is a true 'newbies' session as we will spend time on starting from scratch, assuming no prior SAM knowledge. Once you understand the assignment creation, we will schedule them for your students to see. Lastly, you will learn how to run reports based on student performance.
